My favorite are the bits between Varric and Solas about the man dying alone watching the stars. For some reason it makes me tear up. When Varric says, “but he went on living” I get chills. This exchange gets to the heart of where Solas is wrong in his thinking and Varric makes so much sense, Solas even considers that he is mistaken, dispute his usual arrogance and sense of superiority. It’s too bad he couldn’t let the fall of the elves go, but that gives us Dragon Age 4.

It's going to be very interesting when the next Dragon Age game is released and the new characters are like, "Why didn't the Inquisitor kill the dread wolf?" much like how the new characters in Inquisition kept asking, "Why didn't Hawke kill Coryphyeus?" Granted, the reasons are somewhat different, but the theme of annoying major characters for not stopping a villain at that place and time will prevail. Oh the sad betrayal of Solas...that music really sinks it in.
